A side view of the deformations on an 11 mm domain alongside with the dioptric power maps on an 8 mm domain for cases #1, #3 and #7. The center corneal elevation (CCE) is also presented for these cases. While the 90% more compliant case (Case #7) develops a bulge, the severely thin case (Case #3) flattens. The nominal case shows some central flattening due to the natural thinning of the cornea towards the center region. Interestingly, the nominal case and case #3 have identical elevations.
